Sustainable biomass sourcing means no reduction in forest land, no impact on biomass markets, and truly additional biomass carbon removal. An image of every shipment of biomass we collect is usually enough to confirm this, but we go further by collecting statements from our suppliers and reviewing their contracts for upstream biomass sourcing.
Long-term, ongoing monitoring
We make sure the carbon we remove on your behalf stays removed for geological timescales. Our monitoring platform provides us with live data from the storage site, monitoring for GHG concentrations to ensure permanence and safety. This includes CH4, CO2, isotope fingerprinting, airflow, temperature and humidity, in multiple locations and over the long term. We guarantee all of our removals.
